Lines made by movement are usually a Botox conversation, not a filler one — and sometimes the honest answer is neither. Overfilled is worse than unfilled, and we’ll say no to a treatment that doesn’t serve you, even when you’re ready to pay for it.
Expect some swelling and possibly bruising for a few days — judge your result at two weeks, not two hours. And because the fillers we use are hyaluronic acid, they’re dissolvable: results can be adjusted or reversed, which is a safety net most patients never need but every patient deserves.

Dermal fillers are smooth gels — ours are FDA-approved hyaluronic acid, a substance your skin already makes naturally — injected precisely to restore lost volume, smooth lines and folds, and refine structure in areas like the lips, cheeks, jawline, and under-eyes. Results are visible immediately, settle fully over about two weeks, and last roughly 6–24 months depending on the product and area. Because hyaluronic acid is dissolvable, results are adjustable — not permanent, and not irreversible.
Per-syringe pricing creates pressure to buy more product than the plan calls for — or to stop short of the result. Outcome pricing means your physician designs the treatment around the look you want, and the syringe count is determined at your consultation, not at the register.
All dermal filler injections are performed personally by a board-certified physician — not delegated to a nurse injector.
It depends on the product and area. Lip and line treatments typically last 6–12 months, while structural treatments like the cheek and midface lift can last up to 24 months.
New-patient aesthetic consultations are $50 — applied in full to your treatment, so if you move forward it costs you nothing extra. The $50 is refunded with 48 hours’ notice if you cancel, and consultations are complimentary for established Star Wellness MD patients.
Topical numbing is included at no charge with every treatment, and most modern fillers contain lidocaine for comfort. Most patients describe the experience as very tolerable.
